Frequently Asked Questions
BAGABAL
What is Bagabal?
Bagabal is a Spanish artisan brand that makes the only convertible padel bag on the market. Each piece goes from court to office to dinner — without changing bags. Everything is handmade in Spain, in small batches, by third-generation artisans. No two pieces are exactly alike.
What materials are Bagabal bags made of?
Our bags combinedurable, stain-resistant canvas and high-quality Spanish leather, certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG). Every material is selected for durability, not just aesthetics — these bags are built to last years, not seasons.
Are Bagabal bags sustainable?
Sustainability at Bagabal isn't a label — it's a decision made at every step. We produce in small batches to avoid waste, use certified leathers and fabrics, and work with local artisans paid fairly for their craft. We don't chase certifications for the sake of it. We just make things the right way.
Where are Bagabal bags made?
Every Bagabal bag is handmade in Spain by a family of third-generation artisans. Each piece takes 14 hours to complete. You'll find the proof in the small yellow thread stitched along every zipper — our signature, and theirs.
How do I care for my Bagabal bag?
Clean the canvas with a damp cloth — most marks come off easily. For the leather, avoid harsh products; a soft cloth is enough for daily care. Store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. When not in use, stuff it lightly to help it keep its shape, and store it inside our dust bag. Treated well, a Bagabal bag lasts years.
How does the convertible system work?
The TRE bag has two interchangeable inserts that click in and out in seconds: a racket sleeve for the court, and a leather pochette for everything else. On the court: sleeve in, racket protected, ball pocket ready. Going to a meeting: swap to the leather pochette — a magnetic closure keeps it neat, and there's room for a laptop. Evening: unclip the pochette and carry it on its own. One bag, two inserts, three configurations. No tools, no fuss.
What does the yellow thread mean?
The yellow thread stitched along each zipper is Bagabal's signature. Three millimetres, hand-placed on every piece. It means this bag was made by real artisans, with certified materials, in a real workshop in Spain — with no shortcuts. Look for it. It's always there.
