The Story Behind Bagabal
Born on a padel court. Built for everything after.
Bagabal was born not out of strategy, but necessity, in the middle of real life, with no grand business plan. Just the search for a bag that could match the rhythm of a modern woman’s day: work, sport, errands, and everything in between.
I’m Cris, and before founding Bagabal, I worked in the event industry as a freelancer, always on the move, juggling motherhood, deadlines, and stolen sessions on the padel court to keep my energy (and sanity). One day, I realized there was no bag that truly felt like me: elegant but not fragile, practical but not bulky, sporty but still feminine.
That’s when the idea sparked.
Crafted with Intention: Our Commitment to Local Production
What began as a simple project quickly evolved. I couldn't ignore the reality of fast production, cheap labor, and overseas manufacturing. It didn't align with my values. So I chose a different path: local production, exceptional materials, traditional craftsmanship — all rooted in Spanish know-how. It was harder. Slower. But meaningful.
And one small detail carries that story: the yellow stitch along each zipper.
A quiet signature of our process. A sign that every piece was finished by hand, with no shortcuts. It’s our way of saying: this was made with intention.

Made for Those Who Refuse to Choose
Today, Bagabal is more than bags. It's proof that things can be made differently. Real people, real workshops, real craft — rooted in Spain. Our pieces are designed for those who seek elegance in the everyday, and who believe that how something is made matters just as much as how it looks.
And one small detail carries all of that.
